ISSEE have successfully delivered an International Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Operator course for the Counter Explosive Ordnance Defence Engagement (CEDE) office at the Royal Police Institute in Kenitra, Morocco.
Policemen of the Bomb Technician Central Services (SCA) were taught United Kingdom (UK) Ministry of Defence Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD) best practice and all students were successful on the course! Well done to the students and ISSEE’s Advanced IEDD training team!
The course closing ceremony was attended by the British Ambassador to Morocco, His Excellency Simon Martin CMG. Also in attendance were representatives from the CEDE Office’ Mr Bert Appleton (Chief CEDE) and Kim Hughes GC (Technical Adviser), 29 EOD&S Group (Lt Col Nick Handy RLC) and UK Metropolitan Police SO15 Counter Terrorism Command (Ch Insp Anne Brannon).
We wish the students the best of luck as they employ their newly acquired skills in their operational roles to preserve civilian life and property in their home nation.
