ISSEE is Moving

As from Tuesday 7 April 2015, ISSEE will be relocating to more spacious and comfortable surroundings.

ISSEE will be moving from Chilmark in Wiltshire to Enstone in Oxfordshire. Our new location offers us the expansive training, conference and office facilities we need and, for the first time, allows us to provide integrated accommodation for our students.

ISSEE will be based at the Centre for Homeland Security, Talbot Hall, which sits within the 440 acre estate of Heythrop Park which is only 6 miles from Chipping Norton and a 20 minute drive from Junction 11 of the M40.

The responsibility for countering terrorism and the threat of terrorism lies in the main with Governments and their various departments of state such as Police, intelligence services, military and special forces.

I enlisted in Aug 1979 and served a full 22-year career as an Ammunition Technician in the RAOC & then the RLC. The majority of my ‘in-trade’ employment was spent in (what is now) 11 EOD Regt RLC, serving in Tidworth, Hounslow, Aldershot, Liverpool, Hereford, Herford, Bielefeld and Didcot.

This year we will be exhibiting the 360° imaging equipment (eBOT360) at the Emirates Security Exhibition and Conference (EMSEC) which will be held on 28 & 29 October 2014 in the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The event aims to bring together law enforcement and security agencies with companies and organisations working in the same field. EmSEC 2014, now in its third year, is the premier platform for showcasing law enforcement and public security solutions in the United Arab Emirates.

Our colleague cycles for Help for Heroes

On Saturday 27 September, our Office Manager Lynn and her friend Jane will be in the Matalan Retail store in Salisbury cycling on the turbo trainer in preparation for the Big Battlefield Bike Ride 2015 (BBBR).

“This will be the first in many fundraising events we will do, to help us achieve our target of raising £5,000 for the Help for Heroes charity.” Says Lynn.
