ISSEE has pioneered the commercial delivery of accredited explosives training and was the first such training organisation to be accredited by the City and Guilds of London Institute.
As a supplier to the UK MOD and NATO, ISSEE is highly experienced in meeting the requirments of armed forces, government security services, NGOs and commercial organisations from around the world.
Our Chilmark facility in the UK regularly hosts delegates from the Middle East, the Far East, North Africa and China. Through a strategic partnership with TEEX, the Public Safety and Security Department of Texas A&M University, ISSEE also caters to the needs of delegates from the Americas.
All courses are focussed on specific outcomes and designed to create competence and confidence enabling individuals to carry out their tasks safely and effectively, which in turn enhances performance.
Addressing the requirements of MSER and JSP482 (requiring conformance to the UK National Occupational Standards) ensures that organisations meet their corporate Duty of Care obligations and better serve the interests of their stakeholders.
ISSEE's vast experience in explosives, together with its ability to simulate most security and counter-terrorism scenarios, enables the design and delivery of outcome-oriented training for global markets that is unparalleled in the commercial world.
Our courses focus on five primary areas:
- Counter Terrorism
- High Risk Search and Security
- Humanitarian Demining and Remediation of Land contaminated with Explosive Remnants of War (ERW)
- International Munitions and Explosives (training that was only previously delivered by the UK MOD)
- Commercial Explosives (for companies engaged in the Manufacture & Storage of Explosives Regulations (MSER) and/or the Joint Service Procedure (JSP) 482)
