ISSEE will be exhibiting at the Transport Security Expo (Transec) on 2 & 3 December 2015. You can visit us at stand H13.
This will be Transec’s 13th edition, and over the years it has become the main global platform bringing Government, Industry & Academia together to counter the threat against the world’s transportation networks.
In addition to exhibiting this year for the first time, at the Transport Security Expo (Transec) on 2 & 3 December 2015, you can also listen to our CEO, Gordon Storey who will be speaking at the event.
Gordon’s presentation will cover the range of risks to the Transport Industry from terrorism, focussing on transportation hubs like railway stations, airports (land side), and underground / subway systems.
There have been noteworthy examples in the past using planes, trains and buses to target large numbers of the public. This will continue and attacks will vary from the simple to the very complex. Governments responsible for protecting their Nation find that the requirement to provide highly trained responders, capable of dealing with the full terrorist arsenal without excessive disruption to daily activity or damage to property, becomes more and more expensive and time consuming.

ISSEE has moved its offices and training facilities from Chilmark, Wiltshire to Talbot Hall, Enstone in Oxfordshire. The main move of the equipment, office furniture and the people has now taken place and everybody is finding their feet in their new surroundings.
As a first for ISSEE, the new location offers integrated, on-site student accommodation plus the ability to host large conferences and seminars.
