ISSEE is proud to declare its commitment to the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative, the UN Global Compact.
This initiative encourages companies to consider the impact their operations have on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and calls on them to take action that will have a positive impact on society. By actively making the commitment to working with sustainability in mind, businesses can be part of a culture that takes shared responsibility for achieving a better world.
To make this happen, the UN Global Compact supports companies to:
- Do business responsibly by aligning their strategies and operations with Ten Principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption; and
- Take strategic actions to advance broader societal goals, such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with an emphasis on collaboration and innovation.
ISSEE is committed to making the Global Compact and its principles part of the culture and day-to-day operations of our company, ensuring that there is a supportive and inclusive culture, staff are engaged and developed to their full potential, suitable training and codes of conduct are always provided and business operations are environmentally friendly, among other priorities.
The commitment to doing business with honesty and integrity is enshrined in our core values and is a theme that runs throughout the fabric of the business.
ISSEE is also dedicated to engaging in collaborative projects which advance the broader development goals of the United Nations, which require taking strategic action. These include a particular focus on ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities, achieving gender quality and making cities and human settlements more inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
