ISSEE Facilities

Based at The Copse in Bloxham, Oxfordshire, ISSEE has bespoke training facilities which are unique in the commercial sector and provide for the simulation of most security and counter-terrorism training scenarios, including the detonation of live explosives.

The new state-of-the-art building is a high-tech, contemporary and spacious structure set on the edge of the Oxfordshire village of Bloxham. It has been specially adapted to host student classrooms, orientation, lunch and common areas, while our world-class practical training moves to a purpose-built location nearby.

Student accommodation is in nearby Banbury, a historic market town with many shops and restaurants, which is only 20 minutes from Oxford and an hour from London or Birmingham by train.

The training centre, though set in stunning countryside, is only 10 minutes’ drive from Banbury and a 15-minute drive from Junction 11 of the M40.

ISSEE also maintains a fleet of fully operational Remote Operating Vehicles (ROVs), as well as Electronic Countermeasures (ECM), explosives and metal detectors, and other state-of-the-art training equipment.

All of our facilities are available for hire by external agencies for their own training purposes.  Clients include the Fire Service and the NHS Hazardous Area Response Teams (HART). ISSEE can deliver most services at our customers’ preferred locations.
