After serving many years in the Army it will be a daunting prospect entering into the civilian employment arena. The Armed Forces train its employees to an extremely high standard for the specific roles its personnel undertake; some of this training carries civilian accreditation with it, but some do not.

When being offered any civilian accreditation from a Military course, take it! Always consider using Standard Learning Credits or Enhanced Learning Credits to finance further accreditation or undertake external training available, you never know when it will be useful!

If you are thinking about your resettlement, have a look at the ISSEE Assessor Centre. ISSEE offers Assessor training enabling students to become Assessors of Competence in the Work Environment. This enables the individual to prepare and conduct assessments within their own qualified work Environment.

We also train individuals in Internal Quality Assurance.  This training will qualify an individual as an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) capable of assessing and moderating the processes and practices of assessors to a standard expected by a Nation Awarding Organisation.

All our training is aligned to National Occupational Standards (NOS) and accredited through Open Awards as the Awarding Organisation.
