Based at the Centre for Homeland Security, ISSEE has bespoke training facilities which are unique in the commercial sector and provide for the simulation of most security and counter-terrorism training scenarios, including the detonation of live explosives.
Our training centre is located in Oxfordshire, and sits within the 440 acre estate of Heythrop Park which is only 6 miles from Chipping Norton and a 20 minute drive from Junction 11 of the M40. Locally we are near the historic sites of Oxford & Blenheim Palace and also within easy access of the world famous Bicester Village Shopping centre.
The ISSEE site includes a variety of terrains, a number of specially adapted buildings, expansive training, conference and office facilities and integrated accommodation for our students.
ISSEE also maintains a fleet of fully operational Remote Operating Vehicles (ROVs), as well as Electronic Countermeasures (ECM), explosives and metal detectors, and other state-of-the-art training equipment.
All of our facilities are available for hire by external agencies for their own training purposes. Clients include the Fire Service and the NHS Hazardous Area Response Teams (HART). ISSEE can deliver most services at our customers’ preferred locations.
